A wonderful range of artworks and sculptures created by 30 members of the Down by the Life Gallery. This show has a wonderful assortment of styles, colour and subject matter.

“A little bit kiwi’ features talented artists Ele Stevenson, Michael Holland and Debbie Garland. Ele incorporates natural materials such as driftwood, glass, stones and encaustic wax to create her sculptures. Michael’s paintings feature landscapes and ocean in stunning colours creating highly detailed paintings. Debbie’s works are bold and delightful with a range of birds and landscapes. Together their works give a sense of the beauty of nature.

This is a group exhibition showcasing printmakers from Te Puna Wai o Waipahu, Hagley College After 3 programme. Our printmakers work collaboratively in the After 3 programme where they support each other’s creativity and wellbeing. This is a selection of prints using a variety of techniques that these printmakers are exploring and developing. These techniques include mono prints, linocuts, woodcuts, drypoint, Tetra Pak and collagraphs. The prints exhibited are the result of collaborative learning in a positive environment.
